1. Large Japanese Client:
Working closely with an AMLAW 100 firm, The Gnoêsis Group provided forty highly qualified document reviewers for a very large document review involving documents in both Japanese and English. Twenty of the forty reviewers were either Japanese natives or fluent in Japanese. This thirteen-week project involved nearly eight million pages and resulted in more than $2 million in savings for the client. The project was notable in another respect. The review was done entirely remotely with reviewers working from their homes. This innovative approach permitted the use of lower cost contract lawyers for the English portion of the review, based primarily in Ohio. Large Columbus Client: The Gnoêsis Group provided twenty-four contract lawyers for a very time-sensitive document review that was initially forecast to take two full weeks. Instead, the Gnoêsis reviewers were able to complete the project in seven days and save the client over $100,000, based on rates that would have been charged by junior litigation associates at the client's law firm. Large Ohio Client: The Gnoêsis Group initially provided twenty reviewers for a long-term document review project for a very large Ohio-based client. The contract legal professionals are conducting this electronic review both on-site and remotely and are managed by a Gnoêsis project manager who directly supervises the team and provides detailed and timely metrics to the in-house attorney who is responsible for the project. Members of the in-house legal team have repeatedly expressed their great satisfaction with the quality of the reviewers, the thoroughness of the quality and productivity reports that are provided by Gnoêsis and the overall professional manner of the review. Florida Document Review for Large Ohio-based Client: The Gnoêsis Group located several highly experienced contract litigators for an intensive, time-sensitive and high level document review in Tallahassee, Florida. In addition, Gnoêsis was asked to provide space and computers. The review, conducted under the supervision of the client's outside counsel, came in under budget and was completed ahead of schedule. The partner had a Tuesday deadline, requiring the review to be completed by the end of business on the following Monday. Gnoêsis assembled a document review team from all over the United States. All sixty of these reviewers were licensed attorneys with document review experience and many had experience on the review tool being used by the client.
